Tianjin University of Technology, a major university founded
by the Tianjin Government, is a public university approved
by the State Council in 1981. Tianjin University of Technology
has the authority to offer Bachelor and Master degrees.
During the past 20 years, the university has trained about
25,000 graduates. These graduates have made a great contribution
to the economic construction and social development of China.
The university has 2047 faculty member and other personnel,
among whom are 443 full professors or associate professors.
The 50-hectare campus contains 363,900 square meters of
classrooms, laboratories and support facilities. The total
value of educational equipment and resources is about US$
7.4 million. These resources include several libraries containing
775,000 books, campus-wide Internet access and audio-visual
materials.
