Maritime College

The School of Transportation was set up in 1986. It is the only school which offers advanced education for Transport and Transportation Management in Tianjin. It is also a member of the International Association of Maritime Union (IAMU). The school has advanced simulators and real machines, such as GMDSS, Navigation, marine engineering and radar.  This year, the total number of undergraduates has risen to 687. The School of Transportation strictly obeys IMO terms, STCW78/95 common divisor and ISO9000 system. The “Quality Control System of Sailor Education and Training” provides advanced education to train students’ learning and management abilities. The school has established good relationships with corporations to set up practice areas for students. Graduates from the school have all had a100% success rate in finding employment. In the past five years, The School of Transportation has undertaken seven items of the Tianjin Committee of Science, Enterprises and IAMU.
