School of Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering School has more than 100 teaching staff, 43 teachers with senior professional titles，43 teachers have Master or PhD degree. Control Theory and Control Engineering is Tianjin’s major discipline. The Industrial Intelligent Control Application Center is the technology application center， authorized by the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Electrical & Automatic Engineering and Network Control Center is the municipality’s first-rate lab. The school hosts cooperative projects with many corporations and through great efforts, has won the provincial technological prize 7 times and second prize in teaching research.
The School pays special attentions to course construction and scientific research, and not only builds new experimental labs with good facilities, but also encourages and supports students in extracurricular activities, thus making them competitive in engineering and associated management field. In order to make a strong connection between theory, practice and research, The School has signed technological cooperation agreements with more than 30 enterprises and set up nearly 10 training bases. All these endeavors provide a good practice environment for the students.
