International College of Business & Technology


With economic globalization and China entry into the WTO, there has been an ever-increasing demand for bright new international talent. The International College of Business & Technology (ICBT) has been established as a special school which operates in cooperation with well-known overseas universities. The college introduces high-quality educational resources, imports the latest foreign school operating concepts and original textbooks, and incorporates modern university management modules and evaluation systems. ICBT is also characterized by adopting teaching plans and curriculums which have been agreed upon with the foreign universities, as well as inviting foreign professors to teach alongside Chinese faculty members. The college focuses on training students in broad theoretical knowledge, practical skills, fluency in spoken English, and strong inter-cultural communication skills. Upon completion of the required programs and credit hours, students will receive certificates and a Bachelor degree of management issued by Tianjin University of Technology and a Bachelor degree issued by the foreign university.

Graduates are expected to work at industrial and commercial enterprises or joint ventures. They will engage in many fields, such as financial management, marketing & sales management, and human resource management. The college has set up stable cooperative workshops with nine medium and large scale enterprises in Tianjin, including John Deer Tiantuo Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Tianbao Okatani Logistics Company.
