School of Material Science and Engineering

The School of Materials Science and Engineering has a total of 41 faculty members, including 10 full professors. The total value of the equipment has reached 10 million RMB with 56% of the total value in large equipment. Materials Physics and Chemistry is a major discipline in Tianjin.
Graduates are well received by companies – as seen in an annual employment rate of over 90%. The School has very close relationships with various industries, like Baoshan Iron & Steel Ltd. and Luoyang Tractor Group Corporation, who often act as practicum centers for recent graduates.
