Call for Papers

The International Conference on BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI2008) will be held from 27 to 30 May 2008 in Sanya, Hainan, China. The aim of BMEI2008 is to bring together researchers working in many different areas of biomedical engineering and informatics to foster international collaborations and exchange of new ideas. The BMEI 2008 conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE and will be indexed in both EI and ISTP. Selected good papers will be recommended for publication in SCI/SCI-E indexed international journals. Keynote speakers include Professor Maciej Ogorzalek, President-Elect, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, Editor-in-Chief, IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine, IEEE Fellow; Dr. Roderic Pettigrew, Director of National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), USA ; Professor Jing Bai, IEEE Fellow. The BMEI 2008 will be co-located with the 2008 Congress on Image and Signal Processing (CISP 2008 : http://www.tjut.edu.cn/CISP2008 ), in order to promote cross-fertilization between the broad areas of biomedical engineering and signal processing. Paper Format

All papers must be written in English. Download the instructions and sample file.
There are no page limits for initial submissions. For accepted papers, one registration covers 5 pages and any additional pages will incur extra page charges.
